We work hard for fair deals that keep your channel costs as low as possible. Sling does not own the networks provided on our service – we have to pay programmers for the right to offer their channels to our customers. Unfortunately, programming prices have risen, and they continue to climb with no end in sight, despite our focus on negotiating fair deals. Sling is absorbing some of the cost, instead of passing everything on to you.
While there are other options out there, Sling TV remains the best value for live sports and news, and Sling is the only service that gives cord cutters the ability to customize their TV experience at an unbeatable value.

Am I getting more channels?
Since we launched in 2015, we have not raised the price of Sling Blue, although we have added 17 channels, the most recent being with the introduction of FOX News, MSNBC and HLN to the Sling Blue base service.
We’ve also added four networks to Sling Orange since the last price increase, in June 2018, and have grown one of the largest on-demand libraries with more than 126,000 titles across all Sling services, up from 12,000 titles at the end of 2015.
Some of the latest features we’ve launched include Cloud DVR Free, which includes 10 hours of Cloud DVR, plus the ability to record all Disney and ESPN channels, full player controls (like fast-forward and pause) across all recordable channels, a new ribbons to help with content discovery, like Trending Live and Recommended for You, as well as improved search and a binge-watching feature.
We continue to revamp the experiences across our platforms, including a refreshed UI on Apple TV and Roku devices, new guide on Roku devices, new search and micro guide on LG, Samsung and Xbox One devices, and ‘launch into live’ and ‘browse while watching’ features on Apple TV.
In the last half of 2019, Sling launched on Safari desktop, Android Chrome mobile, Facebook Portal and Google Nest Hub / Nest Hub Max – giving customers access to their favorite content on over 20 platforms.
Will this keep happening?
While we do everything in our power to fight for customers and keep prices low, we can’t say if your price will change in the future. Programming prices continue to rise we no end in sight, but we work hard to negotiate fair deals that keep your prices as low as possible.
