When we first launched our Sling Orange service, we had fewer than 15 channels. Since then, we’ve more than doubled the number of channels offered without doubling the cost, adding AMC, Comedy Central, History Channel and more to a great lineup that already included ESPN, CNN, and HGTV.

We work hard for fair deals that keep your channel costs as low as possible. Unfortunately, Sling and all other TV providers needed to accept significant price increases from programmers to keep providing you with the content you love. Sling is absorbing some of the overall price increase, instead of passing everything on to you.

While there are other options out there, Sling TV remains the best value for live sports and news, and still gives you the most choice about the programming you want to see.

For additional details, please see below.

How much is the service increasing?

Sling Orange is only increasing $5.01 from $19.99 to $25. Any extras that you subscribe to including DVR will remain unaffected. If you have Sling Blue or subscribe to both Sling Orange + Sling Blue, your price will not be affected.
Note that if you have Sling Blue Beta-Multi-Stream service, your price will only increase $5 from $19.99 to $24.99. Find more details here.

When will my price go up?

Your price will go up on your next billing date starting August 1st, 2018. To confirm your billing date, log in to your account at sling.com/account and check your auto-renew date, or get more information by selecting View Billing Details.

Will you increase my price again this year, or in the next six months?

While we always do everything in our power to fight for our customers and not raise prices, we can’t commit to when any price increase might happen due to decisions made by our programming partners.
